The Shinsedai Cinema Festival is just over a month away – our line-up is set, schedule mapped out, and tickets and passes go on sale this Monday, July 20th. Now we want to involve you in one of the most exciting film events of the summer!
The Shinsedai Cinema Festival is looking for volunteers in a number of positions for the weekend of August 21st to August 23rd. Some of those positions are:
- Ticket takers
- General crowd & line-up control
- Japanese/ English translators
- Bartending assistants (*MUST be Smart Serve certified*)
Volunteering at the festival is a great way to make new friends, meet filmmakers, and spend a great weekend at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre (above). Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Yuki Hipsh at yukih@jccc.on.ca by August 1st.
